Better with the horizons aligned?
Skye graciously agreed to be my model for this project. It was COLD out there.
Wondering how this was done? Want to see the original images? Click here. The technique I used to create this is slightly different than that explanation. For this I simply used a layer mask to "cut" the inside of the frame out (with a path) to reveal the "painting" beneath. To make the canvas texture align properly I created a 50% gray layer, applied the filter to that, set the blending mode to "overlay" and rotated it to the angle of the frame with the Free Transform tool.
Best viewed at original size to see the texturing on the "canvas".

Went for a drive today for about 2 hours. This was the first of six pictures I captured, the frame of a boat that someone had started, it has been there for a few years that I know of.
