Ascending Gunung Sinabung on an ancient lava stream, it's getting cloudy... And the thick jungle-like forest has ceded to smaller vegetation. The growth gives you a clue of the angle of that steep slope. The ascent involves approximately 1000 meters (for the imperialists: ~3281 feet) altitude difference - one way :)
