One of my contacts suggested it might look better without the frame. This is that version. What do you think? Again, this is an adaptation of a photo of the stained glass in the USAF Catholic chapel in Colorado Springs, Colorado, that I took in 1985.

so some people aren't fans of the framed version so i uploaded this one - sans frames.

i thought without the frames that there is too many lines and not enough of anything else. but i'm interested to see what everyone else thinks.

what is behind is past and not near. the project started with the concept of making a frameless frame... it then emerged into a closed door, or unatainable rationality. the idea is that design and art are emotionally equal; knowing that something will work is the same as believing in the visual comfort of a piece.
