Some pictures of the incidents that took place in Bremen, Germany during Saturday (9th of July) night. The Sielwallkreuzung (pictured) is a cross-way in the quarter called Viertel. Quite often there is some turmoil taking place here, usually with a football involved, which the police get the grip on pretty quickly without a lot of violence. Two days ago it was a little different. While a dozen or so punks sat on the cross-way relatively peaceful some broad shouldered body-builder guys started to throw bottles, fire crackers and parts of construction barriers. The police used gas to control the riot, captured the bad guys and hauled off the punks.

At some point this guy started to collect broken glass - bare footed!

This guy in red trousers told me that the people sitting on the cross-way basically just held picnic, very badly equipped though. He - a bread and a beer in his hand - stated that he is the only one around which is well prepared for a picnic.
