Ducks for Change is your opportunity to help change the lives of disadvantaged children
By collecting all 18 designs from our hotel and holiday themed collections, not only will you be purchasing a unique gift, but as all net profits go to Hilton in the Community Foundation, a grant-making trust focussed on supporting young people in the areas of health and education. You will be supporting thousands of children through the hundreds of children’s charities we support.
In 2010 alone we helped over 300,000 young people by awarding over £1 million to 236 charities. Grants have ranged in size and scope, from requests for specialist equipment for disabled students, to support for cancer sufferers, to football kits for a local sports clubs. Although all different, these grants have each made a big difference to a young person’s life, here are what some of our grantees have to say:

“Thank you for the grant of £1,400. The money will be used to offer a fully interactive theatre experience to 75 local children who have severe, profound and complex learning difficulties.” Liane Howard, Playbox Theatre
“Thank you so much for your sponsorship of a Starlight Fun Centre for St Mary’s Hospital Paddington. The mobile unit can be wheeled right up to a sick child’s bed, or played on in the middle of the ward. They provide important distraction for unpleasant treatments such as chemotherapy.” Neil Swan, Starlight Children’s Foundation
In the initial trial phase of Ducks for Change it raised over £20,000 and as the campaign continues to grow this figure is increasing, and with you help we want to have raised over £100,000 by the end of 2011.
Our ducks get up allsorts of adventures from celebrating the royal wedding, meeting England Rugby players and sightseeing across Europe. To follow them on their adventures and to add your own duck pictures become a fan of our Ducks for Change facebook page.
The Ducks are sold in sets of three. If you want to buy a set, finish your collection or buy the whole collection then you can either buy a set from one of over 80 participating Hilton Worldwide Hotels across Europe or you can email in your order to info@hilton-foundation.org.uk.
