Enjoy. I made the background black & white so the livery would stand out.

Shake my head why that plane for Boise State on a college football Saturday was all the way out in Bellingham where the state university (Western Washington) had to cut its football team due to budget issues... but I see the plane's been down to PDX. I have more pics to post, but a plane tug got in the way of what could have been the best.

Enjoy anyway. Original resolution if you'd like.

Picture from the 2011-10-15 Heritage Flight Museum fly day events to honor the 39th Fighter Squadron who in the dark days after Pearl Harbor came to Bellingham, WA on Christmas 1941 to provide air sovereignty services equivalent to today's OPERATION NOBLE EAGLE. The 39th went on to avenge Pearl Harbor, fight against the Communists in Korea and eventually is now training the next generation of air force flight instructors & pilots out of Randolph Air Force Base, Texas with T-6A Texan IIs & T-1A Jayhawks.

Please feel free to visit the Heritage Flight Museum website for upcoming events and background info on the collection. Also links to participation in social media and the flight simulator community.
